That lovely bit of deliciousness pictured above is the absolute best tiramisu I’ve ever had in my life. Literally. …and I literally mean that literally. I’d take another Royal Caribbean cruise tomorrow if they promised me they would serve it every night.
Thanks to everyone who sent along kind words about Doc yesterday. He’s still looking pretty puny after getting some IV fluids today, but he’s at least eating again. The vet isn’t quite sure what’s wrong with him, but he thinks it may just be a little bit of the doggy flu. I’m not so sure he’s right, but I’m not a vet, so I’ll have to trust him for now. I don’t know how those of you with actual children deal with them being sick. This is miserable!
Needless to say, I didn’t get very far with last week’s goals. I wanted to rock my first Stella & Dot Trunk Show, get back into my blogging groove, and start working on Doc’s trail-walking manners. The only one of those three I was actually obligated to accomplish was the trunk show. I’d say I did a good job for it being my first. There were a few hiccups, but nothing I couldn’t work my way through. I did take away some lessons to apply to future shows.
This week, I’m scaling back a bit on the goals until Doc is back to 100%.
1. Follow up with all of my trunk show customers.
A happy customer is a repeat customer!
2. Start filling in my editorial calendar with a few new blog post ideas
I visited 6 different countries on the cruise, so you know I’m going to have lots to share. Stay tuned!
How about you? What are you trying to achieve this week?
